Cynthia Halman

Cynthia Halman works as the Hospice Bereavement Coordinator, and volunteers for the Chaplain’s Department at Adventist Health Sonora. She serves as a Deaconess for her faith community, has a Master’s Degree in Social Work, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and has a Pupil Personnel Services Credential. She provides care, respect and counseling to multi-cultural, diverse individuals and families who are dealing with difficult life situations. Cynthia has been a LivingWorks Education trainer for ASIST since 2010, and safeTALK since 2013. Through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Cynthia is trained as a suicide bereavement clinician, a children’s grief group facilitator, and a Talk Saves Lives TM trainer. Cynthia can be reached at: 209-559-0840.

Kim Garro

Kim Garro serves as a Shepherding Elder for her faith community, and specialized/studied in the 12-step recovery programs such as Celebrate Recovery, Alcoholic Anonymous, Al-Anon, and Alateen since 2013. She coaches and mentors people who are struggling to overcome life’s hurts, difficulties and addictions, helping them realize their God-given potential. She also studied with the John Maxwell team in 2017. Kim has been a LivingWorks Education trainer for ASIST and safeTALK since 2019. Through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Kim is trained in suicide bereavement, a children’s grief group facilitator, and a Talk Saves Lives TM trainer.
